Note

In some cases, a job's top-ups will be negative. This can happen when one or more of the job's employees were topped-up, but they were over minimum wage for this particular job.

Examples

Bob has an agreed hourly rate of $25, with Topup to agreed hourly rate enabled. If Bob did not have this enabled, Bob’s top-up rate would fall back to the legal minimum wage of that pay period.

Bob works on five 8-hour contract jobs over one week, and his average hourly rate works out to be $16/$23.10 per hour. Because this is under the legal minimum wagehis top-up rate, he needs a top-up of $2$1.90 to reach an average contract hourly rate of $18$25.90/00 per hour.
