Costing Codes can be set to tasks to track usage for payroll and reporting eg Staff Training tasks can be tracked to Admin costs.
Roles can be assigned to tasks and restrict the use of those tasks to employees with that role only.
Divisions can be assigned to tasks and restrict the use of those tasks to employees within that Division or Subdivision below only.
Task ID’s are shown in the office to shorten task names for condensed views and reporting.
Add a new task category
Go to
Admin > Tasks

Click
Add a new task category

Enter a Task Category Name, e.g. “Pruning”
Set the Task Type;
Internal
orClient
Enter a Task Code, e.g. “PR”
If required, enter the Costing Code
...
Set the Task Type.
(mandatory for
Internal

Enter a Task ID, e.g. “PR”.

If required, assign the Division

Save
to save your changes

If required, assign a Default unit rate(applied when tracking a job)
If required, assign a Default unit sales rate (applied when invoicing a job)
