Combine two features to fast track the scheduling process and power up your monitoring and management insights.

Login to the Office app

  1. Navigate to Operations > Projects

  2. If you already have a project set up, scroll down to ‘Generate scheduled tasks

  3. To create a new project select +NEW on the top right corner

Set the project spec

Specify details of work to be completed:

  1. Name: We recommend something easy to identify e.g. Pruning 2022, Pruning 2022 - Alandale Farms

  2. Status:

    • Draft - Fully accessible

    • Planned - Fully accessible

    • In progress - Fully accessible

    • Complete - Hidden from filters including manually adding jobs

  3. Scheduled start date/finish date: Jobs outside of these dates will not be added

  4. Expected total cost: aka budget, once added will be used to notify you of forecasted overs or unders

  5. Expected total hours: once added will be used to notify you of forecasted overs or unders

  6. Specification: Description for other Office app, not shared in the Field app

  7. Division: If applicable

  8. Auto-add jobs: Recommended to automatically link synced jobs that match the project spec

  9. Client/s: Required to bring through relevant data

  10. Location/s: Required to bring through relevant data


Add project tasks

Once a project has been created you will need to add tasks and the blocks.

  1. To get started, click +ADD TASK

  2. Choose your task/s

  3. Choose your blocks and move them to the ‘selected box’ on the right. Search or filter by variety if relevant.

Generate scheduled tasks

Now the project has been set up, we can use these information to bulk create all the scheduled tasks required to complete the work.

You have two options;

  1. Generate a scheduled task for every variation of task and block

  2. Group by location and generate a scheduled task for every variation of task and blocks (merged)

Clicking the ‘Group by’ switch with show you a preview.

If you make a mistake you can quickly delete all scheduled tasks and start again.

Manage scheduled tasks

Scheduled tasks are exactly the same whether they were generated in bulk or one-by-one.

View, filter and edit to assign work to employees as and when needed.

Draft scheduled tasks are hidden from the Field app, even if they are assigned to an employee.

Use the check boxes on the left hand side to bulk edit:

Monitor progress

The added benefit of a project is the overview summary.

This dashboard provides helpful visuals and KPI’s you can monitor through to completion. This information is also beneficial to future planning and budgets.
