As of January 2025 Tātou has updated the Employee Profile and Employment Period structure to improve the historical record keeping and reporting within the Tātou Office App. Taking advantage of these features will allow Organisations with both Seasonal and Permanent Employees to keep better track of historical data for their employees.

In this section we’ll focus on best practice management of Employment Periods in the Tātou Office App.

Seasonal Employee - Employment Period Best Practice

This feature update has probably the greatest usage opportunity for organisation who employ seasonal workers. With this update, all information relevant to the employment period will be contained and maintained in individual Employment Periods that clearly define visa and recruitment documentation, earnings and entitlements, job titles, as well as flights and accomodation.
