Scheduled tasks are a great way to plan your workload, track progress and give your employees a shortcut to ‘start a job’. This can ensure the correct task, location, block etc codes are used.

Login to the Field app

Scheduled tasks are available on mobile and tablet devices, for individuals and crew leaders.

  1. Download Tātou Field app from Google Play or Apple Store

  2. Login to the Field app

  3. Open up the menu using the 3 dots in the top right corner and tap on ‘Schedule

The red badge shows the quantity of scheduled tasks To-do. Once started, the job will be In progress and no longer shown in the badge.

Start a scheduled task

Scheduled tasks assigned to you will be listed here. If not, pull down on the page to refresh the screen and load any recent changes.

  1. To start a scheduled task, tap the ‘play’ button (blue star)

    • If tracking simple summary, carryover progress by continually ‘playing’ the job until complete

    • If tracking assign rows, carryover your progress on the job

  2. Start job as usual, continue tracking attendance, progress, pricing etc and sync job

  3. Once started, the scheduled task will change to In progress

  4. Once 100% complete, the scheduled task will change to Done

Scheduled task tips

  • If a due date has passed, it will be highlighted red but is still available to use

  • Sometimes done isn’t 100%, to manually mark a scheduled task done, tap the ‘tick’ button (blue star)

  • Once marked ‘done’ a scheduled task will be removed from your schedule - if you need the task back, contact your administrator who can edit the status

Can’t find a scheduled task?

  • Pull down on the page to refresh the screen and load any recent changes

  • Open up the menu using the 3 dots in the top right corner and tap on ‘RELOAD DATA’

  • Use the search bar to look up scheduled tasks by task, client, location or block

  • Contact your administrator or manager to ensure the task has been correctly assigned.
