The Employee page is where users can view, add, or edit Employees in the Tātou Office App.

Pro Tip - use the Column Filter.png icon to add or remove columns from view on this page

Key Features:

  • Employee Status: Employee’s can be set to ACTIVE or INACTIVE status. Employees with:

    • ACTIVE Status: Are visible to Field App Users, can be added to Jobs, have time tracked, and depending on Permissions, can access Tātou Office App and/or Field App.

    • INACTIVE Status: When an employee leaves your company changing their status to INACTIVE removes their access to the app, and they will no longer be able to be assigned to Jobs/Timesheets.

Timesheets for INACTIVE Employees will still be visible and pull through for Payroll reporting if there was time tracked for them.

  • Add Employees: There are 2 ways Employees can be added:

    • Individually using the “+ NEW” button → New employee.png ← or

    • Bulk Import Employees using the “IMPORT” button → import button.png

  • Filter Options: There are multiple filter options to help users find employees, but note Employee Status is automatically filtered to ACTIVE Employees.

Pro Tip: Groups are a great tool to help manage seasonal employees' status (i.e. a Group called “Winter Pruning Crew” can be created, filtered to, and users can use the Bulk Edit feature to change their status to INACTIVE).

  • Edit & Review Employee Profiles: Click the Green Arrow.png to open an Employee’s Profile

  • Bulk Edit Employees: Selecting multiple Employees will bring up the Bulk Edit button, with the number of employees selected noted to the left, and an option to Cancel on the right.

When Bulk Editing Employee Profile details it is possible to REPLACE or ADD NEW. Use caution when using this feature to make sure you are selecting the detail option under the correct heading.
