Scheduled Tasks are a tool to help plan ahead, set start and finish dates, assign work to crews or employees, easily monitor task progress and completion, and streamline starting Jobs in the field app.

Planning: Schedule Tasks ahead of time and assign them only as needed by changing the status from Draft → To-do
Add Scheduled Tasks: Select
to create a new Scheduled Task
Pro Tip: If you’re creating just a few scheduled tasks with the same Client, location, block, crew, etc., select “Save as Copy” in the Edit pop-up to save a copy, and you can quickly edit the copy to change the Task, Crew, or Block and skip starting from scratch
Task Progress: As jobs are logged against a Scheduled Task the status changes from:
Simple Summary Carry Over Jobs: By using Scheduled Tasks, field app users are able to use the “Carry Over Job” feature when completing tasks that are using the Simple Summary tracking option.
Linked Jobs: Quickly access Jobs linked to a Scheduled Task by clicking the
Bulk Schedule Tasks: Bulk Scheduling of Tasks is available for use in the Projects Feature
Editing Scheduled Tasks: Edit details of your scheduled tasks by clicking
Bulk Edit Scheduled Tasks: Select multiple Scheduled Tasks to make bulk edits to:
Merge Scheduled Tasks: If the same task is going to be completed on multiple blocks at the same location, and by the same crew, you can merge multiple scheduled tasks into 1 scheduled task.
Merging Scheduled Tasks can not be undone. If for reporting reasons each block needs to be separate do not merge tasks.
Scheduled Tasks can be merged by users in the Field App as well
