On the Permissions Group Page you will find a list of all permissions groups and a summary of the groups access for each of the categories. Default Permissions Groups come with every Tātou account and include:

  • Administrator 🔒 - Full access to Office and Field

  • Client 🔒 - Can login to Tātou Office App and approve jobs tracked on their locations and blocks

  • Kiosk 🔒 - Can clock employees in and out (for operations using the Kiosk feature)

Permissions Groups can be added to fit your Organisational Requirements, below are a few examples of what that might look like:

Note

Important Notes:

  • Financial → Hourly Rates: Selecting this option means that Office App Users with this permission are able to see:

    • Hourly Rates on Job Summary and Timesheets

    • When that Employee also has “Employees” permissions, they are able to see individual Employee Hourly Rates that are included in Employee Profiles.

  • Administrative → Employees: Selecting this options means that Office App Users with this permission are able to review Employee Information loaded in Tātou.

  • Divisions: Divisions can be used to restrict view of certain information from groups of users based on organisational structure.

    • Restrict to Division means (clients, locations, tasks, or employees) means that this information is not visible to people below that specific division.

    • Employees in the same division are able to see information above (if not restricted) and below them based on their permissions settings.
