Settings Page

The Settings page is where you can set organisation wide settings, rules, rates, entitlements, that become applicable to other system features.

Key Features:

  • Jobs and Timesheets:

    • Kiosk Time Rounding: For Kiosk users to set a time window for rounding scans to the nearest __.

    • Allowed Rate Types: Set allowed rate types for your organisation.

    • Default Rate Type: Set the default rate type for when new Jobs are created.

  • Divisions: This affects how Jobs are assigned to a Division only IF your organisation uses Divisions

    • By the Crew Leader, or

    • By Location, then Client, then Crew Leader

  • Invoicing: This relates to how Tātou determine which Rate to apply to an invoice if there are 2 possible Rates - 1 from a Role, and the other from a Task.

    • Role, then Task

    • Task, then Role

  • Pay Periods: This is basic information about Frequency and When Pay Periods occur, but also allows users to set Alerts to help flag important metrics during the pay period. These Alerts include min and max values for:

    • Hours per Day

    • Hours per Week

    • Days per Week

    • Unpaid Break Threshold

  • Additional Costs: This is where you can add or edit % values that can be applied to employees for things like:

    • Kiwisaver

    • Holiday

  • Entitlements: relating to minimum hourly rates, contract top ups, and paid rest breaks, this is where you set organisational standards to automate these rules for reporting and payroll.

Pro Tip: Minimum Hourly Rates can be set ahead of time to you ensure minimum rates changes occur seamlessly.

  • Attendance: Add Attendance Reasons here, and decide how these can apply to earnings, hours, etc.
